(More customer reviews)These sheets are fairly expensive and don't really live up to the hype.I don't know how to accurately determine "thread count", but I doubt that they are actually 1000.I would rate them as "adequate".I have heard that Egyptian cotton improves with a few washings so I'm hoping that they get softer and nicer.
